Luna softball players Angelica Angel and Angelica Ortiz earn all-region honors

Two Luna softball players earned all-region 9 honors following the 2023 season.

Luna softball players Angelica Angel (left) and Angelica Ortiz both earned Region 9 honors this year.

Angelica Angel earned all-region honors as an outfielder with Angelica Ortiz earning honorable mention all-region honors as a catcher.

Luna head coach Randal Krutsch said this is the first time in program history that Luna softball players earned all-region 9 honors.
