Mana del Norte Scholarship
MANA del Norte scholarship applications available for 2019-20
Santa Fe – MANA del Norte is accepting scholarship applications for the 2019-20 academic year. Applicants must be current or former residents of one of the following six northern New Mexico counties: Los Alamos, Mora, Rio Arriba, Santa Fe, San Miguel, or Taos. This year, at least five $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to selected recipients.
“The purpose of the MANA del Norte Scholarship is to assist Hispanic women from northern New Mexico in continuing and/or completing their post-secondary education with a focus on the non-traditional student, such as single heads of household, re-entry into college, and first-generation college bound students,” said Anissa Evans, scholarship committee co-chair.
Applications must be submitted on or before July 1, 2019 (postmarked) via regular mail to: MANA del Norte Scholarship Committee, P.O. Box 9236, Santa Fe, NM 87504.

Selected applicants will receive their awards and be honored at MANA del Norte’s Annual Scholarship Banquet on Saturday, Oct. 12, 2019 at The Lodge at Santa Fe, held during National Hispanic Heritage Month, Sept. 15 through Oct. 15.
“This is a special year for us as we will also be celebrating MANA del Norte’s 30th anniversary,” said Dr. Roybal.
