School of Business

School of Business Studies Programs

The Luna Community College School of Business was awarded accreditation of its Business Programs May 8, 2014. The Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) has awarded accreditation of its business programs listed below.

Established in 1988, ACBSP is the only organization offering specialized business accreditation for all degree levels, from associate to baccalaureate to doctoral degree programs. ACBSP accreditation certifies that the teaching and learning processes within the business studies program at Luna Community College meet the rigorous educational standards established by ACBSP.

Department of Vocational Education

The Luna Community College Department of Vocational Education is an Accredited Training and Education Facility for the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) and is sponsored by AGC New Mexico.

The LCC Vocational Education programs that fall under this accreditation are: Building Technology, Welding Technology, Electrical Wiring Technology, and Concrete Finishing.
