Peoble earns Nightingale Scholarship

Emma Peoble, a nursing student at Luna Community College, has earned a $1,000 Nightingale Scholarship — one of only 20 awarded statewide.

The Nightingale Nursing Scholarship Committee announced the award recently. The scholarship is intended to help nursing students complete their studies and is named after iconic nurse Florence Nightingale.

Peoble is among the Class of 2020 graduates, earning her associate degree in nursing.
