Luna Counselor/Advisor Cindy Branch working on suicide prevention project

Luna Community College Counselor/Advisor Cindy Branch provides academic accommodations for students with disabilities, assists in Accuplacer testing, advises new students, and helps with special projects. Branch is
currently working on a suicide prevention project with co-workers and community members. “We are now faced with finding ways to help others get past dark places in our lives, not only during COVID but always. Our community both on campus and off campus has had to deal with many changes that can cause distress or depression. And I feel this a good time to reach out to others more than ever.” Students in need of assistance can
e-mail her at cbranch@luna.edu. You may also call Branch at 505-454-2541.
