Congresswoman visits campus

Congresswoman Teresa Leger Fernandez, who represents New Mexico’s 3rd Congressional District, meets with Luna Community College Acting President Morris Madrid recently at the college. In Washington, DC., Congresswoman Leger Fernandez has already taken a leadership role with the Congressional Hispanic Caucus as a freshman representative. Congresswoman Leger Fernandez has also been appointed to the House Committee on Education and Labor and the House Committee on Natural Resources.
