Luna Board of Trustees, president participate in training retreat

Luna Board of Trustees and President Dr. Edward Martinez listen to a community college funding presentation by Mark Valenzuela of the legislative finance committee on Wednesday, June 23 during a training retreat being held at Highlands University. Among the topics of the two-day training retreat include communication preferences between the BOT and the president, effective governance, educational stakeholders, strategic needs assessment of the college’s strategic plan and evaluation process of the president.
